This website is run by Vercel Inc. (Covina, California, USA). When you visit it, Vercel processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested address, browser identifier) to deliver and protect the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). These logs are kept only briefly.

An account is needed to buy. Sign-in is provided by Clerk, Inc. (San Francisco, USA), which processes your name, e-mail address and sign-in data; if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, e-mail address and profile picture from Google Ireland Ltd. With your account we store the licenses you bought (license number, edition, license key), so you can see them in your dashboard at any time.

The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland). You enter your payment details only on Stripe’s page; we do not receive them. Stripe processes your name, e-mail address, billing address, your VAT ID if given, and the payment data, and sends you the invoice by e-mail. We do not send any e-mails ourselves.

The legal bases are the performance of the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and our statutory retention duties (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).

We manage licenses with our own license server (mo-tion Licences) on servers in Austria. It stores your name, e-mail address, company if given, order number, edition and a one-way checksum of the license key.

When activating and regularly checking the license, VZCTRL transmits a checksum of the device identifier (not the identifier itself), the device name and the program version. This keeps to the permitted number of devices and provides updates (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Downloads are provided through our own file server (mo-tion Files).

We only use technically necessary cookies that keep you signed in (§ 165 (3) TKG 2021). There are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.

Vercel and Clerk are based in the USA. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 45, 46 GDPR).

• Account data: until you delete your account.
• License data: as long as the license exists.
• Invoice and accounting data: seven years (§ 132 BAO).

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15-21 GDPR). Please contact the e-mail address above.
