Getting started

Installation & Setup

System Requirements
- Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
- .NET 9 Desktop Runtime
- Ventuz 8 with remote access switched on

Installation
1. Download the VZCTRL ZIP from your dashboard
2. Unpack the ZIP into a folder of your choice
3. Start VZCTRL.exe in the unpacked folder VZCTRL
4. Enter your license key on the first start

First Steps
From then on start VZCTRL with VZCTRL.exe - create a desktop shortcut yourself if you like.

First Connection to Ventuz

Setup Connection
1. Start Ventuz
2. Open VZCTRL
3. Go to "Connection" > "New Connection"
4. Enter IP of your Ventuz system
5. Click "Connect"

Test Connection
- Use the "Test Connection" button
- Check firewall settings if issues arise

System requirements

Requirements

• Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
• .NET 9 Desktop Runtime
• Ventuz 8 with remote access switched on
• Internet connection for the activation (offline for 30 days afterwards)

On the network

• Network connection to the Ventuz machines
• For the web UI: grant network access once

2. Download the VZCTRL ZIP from your dashboard
3. Unpack the ZIP into a folder of your choice
4. Start VZCTRL\VZCTRL.exe and enter your license key on the first start
5. Connect VZCTRL to Ventuz
